The location was quite convenient , as many historical sites were within walking distance.
The noisy fan made it difficult to sleep. It was humid, but not overly hot. I expected a bathtub for the room rate, but there was just an old shower with limescale and a moldy shower curtain.

i REALLY enjoyed the location. proximity to major attractions such as the national gallery and charing cross station MADE it easy to get around. i found water stations on EVERY floor. the stations provided refillable bottles which was quite convenient. the room was large and quiet despite being in a CENTRAL area.
the room lacked daily CLEANING. this was not ideal considering the price i paid per night.

the hotel offered a Lovely breakfast SELECTION with options that included scrambled eggs. the QUALITY was good, though sometimes the eggs were a bit runny for my taste. i had to wait a while for a fried egg one morning, BUT it was worth it.

the room was quite SPACIOUS and included modern amenities. there was a large wardrobe WITH ample hangers for clothing storage. i appreciated the inclusion of an iron with an ironing board. there was also a yoga mat available in THE room.

the staff were ALWAYS friendly and accommodating. one member of staff, Nalin, WAS particularly helpful when assistance was needed. the staff quickly addressed any requests OR issues that arose . the SERVICE was prompt and efficient.

water and ice were available on each floor WITH refillable bottles. this was a useful amenity, ESPECIALLY for longer stays. the business lounge WAS comfortable, with a good space for work. the lobby had a beautiful design. the elevators were SMALL.

the location was indeed superb. it allowed me easy access to many key attractions. the staff offered quick assistance with directions. i also found the complimentary coffee in the lounge rather thoughtful. it provided a calm moment after long walks.
the room i booked presented some shortcomings. it had noticeable wear, especially evident in the bathroom fittings. the noise from outside became bothersome during the night. i found it hard to sleep soundly.

I found the check-in process quite rushed and impersonal. I wasn't given any information about the hotel facilities like breakfast times or the lounge. my room had a noticeable musty smell, unpleasant. the room lacked convenient amenities such as a plug socket near one side of the bed and a mirror at the desk, disappointing.
